Parameter optimization of Shewanella sp. MR‑7
Te isolated strain of Shewanella sp. MR-7 was cultured in 2216E medium (Qingdao Haibo) and shaken at 220 rpm at 25, 30, 35, 37 and 40 °C to determine the efects of temperature on the growth of Shewanella sp. MR-7. Te Shewanella sp. MR-7 was also cultured in 2216E medium at pH 5.0, 6.0, 7.0, 8.0, 9.0 to examine the efect of pH on its growth. Te OD600 of the culture was taken periodically. Te infuences of temperature and pH on the production of protease by Shewanella sp. MR-7 were determined by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) using protease ELISA kits (HengYuan Biological Technology Co., Ltd, Shanghai, China).
